Join Flora Collingwood-Norris for a 3 hour darning workshop for knitwear at the Little Art Hub in Galashiels. 

This will be a relaxed and friendly workshop suitable for beginners, where you will learn to colourfully darn your knitwear. You will learn different approaches to darning, working from the front and back of your fabric as well as adding pattern to your darning (if we have time). The aim is to leave you feeling confident to start repairing your own knitwear. 

 

All materials will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own knitwear to discuss or work on if you would like. 

Tea, coffee and nibbles will be provided. 

 

Flora Collingwood-Norris is a knitwear designer, maker and mender based in Galashiels. Flora’s repairs have been featured in Vogue, Country Living, The Guardian, The Times, and she was included in the Financial Times article ‘The world’s best repair shops.’ 

Flora is passionate about reducing textile waste and making clothing last! She will share her enthusiasm for visible, colourful mending, blending practicality with creativity.
